Personality
Andromeda can be a little naive and gullible, and being a walking cactus people dont often want to get too close due to her spines.
She has been known to roll in beds of corks or packing peanuts to try and soften her image and get hugs of affection, though this rarely works...
Design traits
So andromeda is basically a Galaxy/space maractus, in that you can see universe like patterns within her body.
This is a visionary portal to a part in the universe, if someone where to walk into andromeda accidentally, there is a chance that they may find themselves in the deep and relentless grasp of outer space.
A useful ability that she uses herself sometimes to essentially teleport into the final frontier, so long as your prepared for Astronomic travel there is no reason you cant go along and explore the stars together.
Andromeda cannot fly, levitate or leave the ground on her own despite her powers, she's also additionally attractive to birds attempting to peck at her due to her glowing highlights. however she again has the abliity to teleport them into the void.
History and inspiration
Andromeda was initially based on a maractus, that had a galaxy apperance, as I really wanted to make a maractus OC/character that looked completely unique within reason, while still retaining the maractus shell.
I looked about for inspiration seeing what other maractus OC's there where, and nothing massively groundbreaking really existed.
It was then I realized that nobody had attempted to dive into a galaxy looking OC and I thought that space was cool so I was like hey why not, and experimented about a little bit co-ordinating the colours of her features and adding a couple nebula in her ears to break her colour up a little bit so she wasnt solid black with white specs, andromeda was one of the most fun characters to make and although not featured much, she does still give me joy doodling her, admitted though... her anatomy is a nightmare as shes got no legs and really fat little arms with tiny little spike hands and massive "Ears" with big flowers on the end of them... maractus spikes are also kinda tricky especially at angles
Andromeda is one of my older characters that is due for an overhaul.
