Personality

Beebo is a curious little robot that operates as an assistant around the facility,

He very much likes to roll about, despite having the ability to fly, perhaps he finds the rolling motion fun, even IF it means rolling down the stairs... thankfully beebos model is quite durable and doesnt weigh too much, so serious damage is not too much of an issue unless he catches his display which has only ever happened twice.

Design traits

Beebo performs lighter more mundane tasks such as taking and incinerating garbage, checking in on the residents and can act as an alert droid and communication droid, should anyone need to contact someone else.

Beebo also has the facilitates for entertainment for the residents and guests, and can provide CPR if he is the first on the scene. He has been fitted with a defibrillator and knows the routine for first aid/CPR and getting them into the recovery postition.

Beebos model was designed as a ball for durability, allowing them to roll away from damaging situations or being able to absorb the damage with his metal ball plates,

His model was designed as a budget assistant for commercial and educational use, and is designed and built as such. He does not have a fully fledged vocal chip like the other robotic members of the facility and instead communicates with beeps, warbles, and drones.

If Beebo is having trouble getting through the language barrier he will make gestures and show text or pictures related to what hes trying to say.

Beebo himself was found in a garbage dumpster outside a veacile showroom where he was originally used as an assistant for allowing customers to choose their model and any extras along with forwarding any complaints and messages to the appropriate staff. He was thrown out after the company got a newer assistant, as to please the customers in the showroom.

History and inspiration

I really enjoy creating robot characters and I thought it would be fun to have a little round ball of robot with a character in it, focused on a different area of the market that kaliko and Fifi where made for, and what they may look like.

and beebo was the result after a lot of trial and error admmittedly.

Unlike The Ramblerbot and Excelsior models (Fifi and Kaliko) that senetra made,
Beebos model and company (Suttle solutions) is still in production, alive and well, all beit with a few revisions and shiny things that the newer ones are able to do. Doesnt mean to say that Beebo hasnt his place in the world!
