Personality
Xhyphicho (or Fi-fi for short) is a friendly, and very clumsy robot. She will do what she can to help others but most of the time shes on her butt or laying on the ground or otherwise falling over and breaking something, either on herself or her surroundings.
You will often know when Fifi is coming along as you will be able to hear her about a mile away... breaking something or just speaking. In addition she has bundles of energy and cant really stay still for too long. She may be a robot, but treat her like one and your not going to have an easy time with her, shes a bit of a handful.
Design traits
Xhyphicho's panels are virtually never seen as brand new formings, and always have some kind of damage on them from where she has fallen over or broken something. Shes been though hundreds if not thousands of panel sets. Originally she was a white prototype, but after so many panels being damaged, Kaliko opted to just take a mould of a set of fresh ones so that he could form them himself.
In the 32nd century, trying to find parts for robots manufactured in 2035 are almost impossible to come by. Fifi has slowly been outfitted with fibreglass panels to replace the original ABS ones. These days, the only resin Kaliko has on hand turns luminous yellow when fully set, Some would argue however that this is fi-fi's most distinctive design feature, despite it not being factory original.
Her eyes are different colours, this is because her right eye (pink) is the result of an especially hard impact when a set of books fell down on her from high shelving,
Fifi has also almost tripped down some stairs and in the process of recovery the momentum carried her 300 kg weight right into the adjacent wall.
Her antennae are also non original, replaced almost as many times as her panels.
The result of her clumsiness to some extent is due to her stabilization gyroscope not functioning, it cannot process the data from the counterweights in her head and she ends up falling down.
History and inspiration
Fifi's design wasnt really inspired by anything apart from what was going on in my head. Similar to some of my other characters the design came to me in a dream, I had a keen interest in robots, and thought it would be fun to make a clumsy character of sorts.
So I plugged the robot design with the clumsy character idea and modeled Fi-fi after this concept, Fifi has been through several remodels since she was created, (about 1 a year), she started out as a mk 3 then escalated to a mk4 form. Shes also had a holographic cloak fitted to allow her to take the appearance of anything she wishes... However she is not as skillful as Kaliko at using it, she mostly uses it to change her own appearance rather than to go incognito like Kaliko does
I couldn't just drop the mk3 form either, as I still like it a whole lot. Then I thought that, being a robot, that the manufacturer might have produced series to keep up with technological demands such as the Mk2, mk3 mk4 etc. I even had the basis here for some good lore about the company that manufactured Fifi and why they went under.
