Personality
Kaliko is a character that does not reside in the facility, however he visits from outside. He serves a high profile company in the executive area assisting with office operations.
Kaliko himself is a direct reflection of myself now, he is very quiet, and never has a lot to say, He is also quite forgetful and has trouble remembering things. In addition he is also autistic, but on on the high functioning end.
Generally knowledgable but can be a bit emotionally cold to others.
Design traits
Kaliko is a V1 excelsior, essentially the executive variant of the V4 ramblerbot (Fifis model).
As a result kaliko and Fifi get on as if they where siblings which in a way they are, as they are both manufactured by Senetra at about the same time.
Fifi is slightly older than Kaliko but kaliko is much more mature in their mindset, and advises Fifi when she makes poor decisions.
Kaliko was made as a direct reflection of myself, and their color scheme reflects my asexual orientation, however ive integrated it in such a way that its not noticeable unless told about it.
Various elements of their design reflect parts of myself, along with integrating the design to make it look like it came from about the same period where V4 ramblers where being manufactured.
The vent ducts on the back of his head where modelled on my long hair and run upto the top of his head.
His roundals on the sides of his head represented my love for music, and have been modelled on my current set of headphones, with some tweaks.
Kaliko has also been modelled to look slightly porky, as I in real life am indeed a little overweight.
When his power is low, a plinth extends from his upper torso between his head and locks itself to support the head, which is why you may see kaliko have a floating head sometimes and a fixed head at others
History and inspiration
So Kaliko was part of an internal project for me to design a character that would basically be myself in the world that ive created, called "project refresh". Kaliko represents me in his design, IRL I am kinda a fatty so I implemented a little bit of that into kaliko, along with my sexual orientation with his colour scheme being based on the asexual flags colours. The ducts on the back of his head have been designed in such a way to represent my long hair (though I have had it cut since), his floating head is representive of the fact that sometimes I lose myself in thought and my head floats away into the clouds a lot. He was one of 7 design proposals
