Personality
Keldarr is not a member of the facility as he lives on earth, roaming the areas of Tibet, Mongolia and the Himalayas. Hes built up quite a legend with the local communities, being the "dragon of prosperity", If you see him you will gain enormous wealth and prosper greatly in life... Or so the legends go...
Keldarr in himself is cautious around strangers, however he does often guide travellers through the snowy terrain, and will even wrap himself around them if he likes them enough, acting as a living scarf.
Design traits
Keldarr may be a dragon, however he does not have scales and wings like traditional dragons do, he is instead covered in a thick layer of fur with warm blood, and his legs (although dumpy) are under him rather than too the side.
He would therefore be classified as a mammal rather than a reptile, which is unusual as dragons go however most don't deny that he is adorable all the same!
Keldarr is a magical dragon, he is able to fly and "breathe" elements, and is indeed able to bring people prosperity, however that last point he doesnt use. Its just a tale that local folk have created over time.
His right eye changes colour depending what element he is using.(which is normally ice).
History and inspiration
I drew Keldarrs first art about 2 years before giving him a name and assigning him a personality.
I actually drew him as a dragon form of someone elses character, who had been wanted to make a dragon form of themselves for a long time. I took inspiration from the chinese version of dragons, magical wingless serpents essentially... I added fur to try and better fit their character...
This is what I came up with for them, but I still didnt feel it fit their existing character, so I went back to the drawing board and designed something more fitting, never showing them this one and instead the sketch ended up sitting on my PC for 2 years... (by that time they had found a dragon form that worked for them). But keldarr was left in my file archives as he was for 2 years until I figured out what to do with him.
