Personality
Midnight As a whole is very reserved and quiet, withdrawn and can be quite cold to others, not mincing her words in the slightest.
Shes very "Teenage Emo" like in her personality and its hard to crack a smile out of her. The only one that can on a regular basis is her sister, Solar.
Design traits
Midnight features a floating halo and star shaped adornments inside her ears and other floating crystals on her cheek sideburn things, on her tassles and on the end of her tail. She uses these to absorb the filtered sunlight from the moon, which allegedly grants her to create the stars of the galaxy.
Midnight, although not acting like it sometimes, is a deity. Legend has it that the creature of the night (midnight) roams the universe in loops and creates nebula, it is vital not to anger the creature of shadows as it may consume everything as we so know it.
Although Midnight does have the ability to form black holes, they are apparently, according to her at least, accidental, though that mischievous little face does say otherwise...
History and inspiration
So mightnight was originally based off of a Jirachi and like solar I did intend to feature her in NSFW applications, but I couldn't bring myself to draw that kind of thing at the time, and she never really got featured since she was created.
Since her re-work though shes much more focused as a concept and has an interesting personality compared to what she used to have.
The dynamic between opposites of solar and midnight was always there, but I didnt feel it was very strong. It was just kinda like the classic grumpy teen and the happy bubbly person that happens to be their sister.
