Personality
Phaetos is a twitchy, nervous, parasitic predator through and through. He only hunts synthetic life forms, but doesnt listen to reason.
Allegedly created to cull the synthetic population and keep it under control but apparently he went rouge after an error was made within his code before it was run.
Design traits
Phaetos as stated previously is a parasitic predator, meaning he draws resources from a host.
He achieves this by stabbing his tail and draining the power core of the target.
He then charges his own core with the energy collected from the victim.
He then uses his immense strength, along with a harvester mouth to consume the physical materials of the victim, the different materials offer different properties. He uses steel to repair his body, copper to repair his internal circuits. He uses gold and other precious metals to improve his speed, as gold has the lowest electrical resistance of all the metals, it results in fewer losses.
History and inspiration
Phaetos's design came to me in a dream and stuck in my head for like 3 months before getting him down on paper, I wasnt really sure what I wanted to use him for, but I eventually decided on the unique concept of a parasitic hunter a robot vampire.
