Personality
Solar is a very bubbly, carefree and largely naïve, girl that lives for the moment.
If she sees something pretty she wants to show it to everybody to try and instill a little joy within them. Her upbeat and high energy child-like disposition, brings a smile to even the coldest of hearts or stoic of faces.
It can tire her out sometimes, but midnight often looks after her or sleeps with her after she flops down asleep somewhere, usually dangerous, so midnight often drags Solar to somewhere safe.
Design traits
Solars bracelets allow her to control even the hottest of flames or gasses. Her antenna, if she touches them together with something flammable in between them, can ignite and start a fire.
The back of her head also splits apart and allows Solar to conduct The Pyfrion Anakhuna. An ancient ritual that causes old stars to go super, or hypernova, and to ignite new stars in the center of midnights nebulas.
Her wings, although not very long, leave thin trails of superheated flames, which if an asteroid passes through them, becomes a comet. The trails only last for a minute or so before fizzling out
History and inspiration
Solar much like Midnight was based off of a pokemon, a Celebi and did intend for them to be used in NSFW initially but, I was super uncomfortable at the time drawing that kind of thing... and she never really got featured since she was created.
Since her re-work though shes much more focused as a concept and has an interesting personality compared to what she used to have.
The dynamic between opposites of solar and midnight was always there, but I didnt feel it was very strong. It was just kinda like the classic grumpy teen and the happy bubbly person that happens to be their sister.
